David Peressini
David Peressini has been a realtor in Kamloops since 1994. He has developed a wide range of experience in residential, investment, commercial and multi-family projects and works closely with builders and developers. Like so many cities and places in British Columbia, Kamloops has its own unique qualities. To obtain the most from your real estate purchase or sale in the Kamloops area you need a knowledgeable hard working experienced realtor. Royal LePage Westwin Realty is the city’s largest real estate offices and David is one their top producing realtors. He holds a senior Associate Broker license, is a past Director of our Real Estate Board (2002 to 2006) and is active on various board committees.
David is a real believer in having a real estate career that stays current through continuing education. During his time as director Kamloops became the first board in the province of British Columbia to institute mandatory continuing education for its members.
Kamloops is one of the most affordable real estate markets in British Columbia and is the hub of BC’s South Central Interior with major highways connecting to Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, the Okanogan and Northern BC. This is a city of 85,000 with a trading area of 175,000 that boasts mild winters and warm summers. We are one of the sunniest places in Canada. Here the urban life blends with the outdoor enthusiast’s love of golfing, fishing, horse back riding, hiking, mountain biking, skiing and boating. Kamloops is known as the Tournament Capital of Canada and boasts excellent indoor and outdoor sporting facilities, Thompson Rivers University, Sun Peaks Ski Resort, and much more.
David grew up in the Crowsnest Pass area of southern Alberta and attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary. Prior to real estate he had an extensive career in radio and television broadcasting beginning in Calgary and then in the Vancouver area. David also spent several years writing and producing commercials for a major advertising agency. After leaving the advertising business he worked in corporate communications, marketing and public relations for the Knowledge Network and the Open University. He believes much of his success in real estate and his ability to relate to people comes from the experience he gained in his previous careers.
