Barbara Thomson
I’ve had the privilege and great fortune of introducing hundreds of people to the dream of a Sedona lifestyle for over 30 years.
Over these years, I’ve been dedicated to finely honing my skills to better serve my clients: comprehensive and up-to-date market knowledge with historic perspective, enthusiasm, persistence, empathy and listening skills.
THE GOAL: Transform the Sedona vision to reality.
During my real estate tenure, I have chosen to work at RE/MAX- Sedona as an Associate Broker since 1994. I have achieved Hall of Fame status, as well as a Certified Residential Specialist and Graduate Realtor Designation. I have also been appointed to review continuing education courses for the Arizona Dept. of Real Estate.
FAQ- Do you ever tire of looking at this incredible scenery?
My Answer: NEVER! I’m always in awe of the ever changing nuances of the astounding views, and I thank my lucky stars daily for this opportunity.
IMAGINE : Living in a spectacularly beautiful hamlet that many say should have been designated a national park. ( A team of travel writers and photographers commissioned by USA Today magazine voted Sedona #1 most beautiful place to live in the USA. Forbes magazine recently voted Sedona one of the country’s prettiest towns.)
IT’S NO WONDER: Surrounded by towering red rock spires and canyons, national forestland and pristine wilderness areas, Sedona has been a playground for adventurers, mountain bikers, and hikers; it provides an ever changing, awe-inspiring backdrop for artists and photographers as well as a magnet for those seeking a holistic, healthy, spiritual lifestyle.
Not only is Sedona a safe and spacious place to raise a family (my husband and I have proudly raised 2 terrific daughters here; more recently, we’ve introduced 2 pound puppies to the pleasures of daily pre-dawn forest trail jaunts), it’s also ideal for retirees, and 2nd home vacationers as the four mild seasons allow for easy outdoor living for most of the year. I always say when the weather’s bad here, it’s usually far worse everywhere else.
For a town of about 15,000, Sedona boasts a surprisingly sophisticated array of restaurants, galleries and world class resorts and spas, as well as top rated golf courses. There are wonderful opportunities to enjoy and participate in a myriad of festivals and cultural events, e.g., Jazz on the Rocks, International Film Festival, Sedona Bluegrass Festival, Sedona Marathon, Sedona Chamber Music Society and many more.
It would be my pleasure and honor to help you explore great Sedona living possibilities; my full time commitment to successfully guiding buyers and sellers for 33 years will work to your great benefit too.
